PFun Store

PFun Store is a cross-platform, web- and mobile-based rewarding ecosystem designed to increase user engagement through gamified prize pools. As the Lead UI/UX Designer, I spearheaded the end-to-end product design strategy, transforming a complex point-and-reward economy into an intuitive, accessible, and high-conversion digital experience.

  • Role: Lead UI/UX Designer (Strategy, User Research, Wireframing, UI/UX Design, Design System)

  • Timeline: 6 Months (3 months from ideation to high-fidelity UI; 3 months supporting development)

  • Platforms: Web (MVP) & Mobile App (iOS/Android iOS)

Design Highlights & Solutions:

  1. The Dashboard: A centralized hub displaying the user’s live PFun point balance, active prize pools, and immediate daily tasks.

  2. The Prize Pool Experience: High-fidelity cards detailing the progress bar of entries, remaining time, and prize transparency to build platform trust.

  3. Daily Task Hub: A gamified "streak" interface that rewards consistent users, directly boosting user retention metrics.

The Challenge & Objective:

The core objective was to build a highly engaging platform where users utilize PFun Points to enter various high-value prize pools. The platform needed to balance multiple point-acquisition loops—such as registration, viral referral mechanics, daily check-ins, and event participation—without overwhelming the user.

Furthermore, the design strategy required long-term scalability to seamlessly bridge with Buylah, an upcoming e-commerce partner site, allowing users to automatically earn PFun points via online purchases.

Key Outcomes & Impact:

  • Unified Ecosystem: Successfully scaled a web-first MVP into a cohesive, accessible mobile application.

  • Scalable Architecture: Delivered a robust framework fully prepared to absorb the upcoming Buylah e-commerce integration.

  • Rapid Delivery: Led the design team to compress a complex gamified product lifecycle into a strict 3-month design-to-handoff timeline.
